Rangers Agree to Terms With Forward Dominic Moore
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with free agent forward Dominic Moore.

NEW YORK, July 5, 2013 – New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms with free agent forward Dominic Moore.

Moore, 32, has skated in 530 career regular season games in the NHL with the Rangers, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Toronto, Buffalo, Florida, Montreal, Tampa Bay, and San Jose, registering 67 goals and 118 assists for 185 points, along with 349 penalty minutes. Moore established career-highs in assists (32) and points (45) during the 2008-09 season with Toronto and Buffalo. He had a faceoff percentage of over 50% in six consecutive seasons (06-07 – 11-12), including leading his team three times (06-07 - Minnesota, 08-09 – Buffalo, 10-11 – Tampa Bay). Moore tallied a career-best 18 goals during the 2010-11 season with Tampa Bay.

The 6-0, 196 pounder registered four goals and 21 assists for 25 points, along with 54 penalty minutes in 79 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning and the San Jose Sharks. He registered his 100th career NHL assist on October 25 at Buffalo. Moore skated in three playoff games with San Jose, registering five penalty minutes.

Moore skated in 87 games over parts of two seasons with the Rangers, registering nine goals and 12 assists for 21 points, along with 28 penalty minutes. He tallied three assists in his NHL debut on November 1, 2003 at Montreal, becoming just the second Ranger at the time to record three points in his first career game.

In post-season play, Moore has registered seven goals and nine assists for 16 points, along with 31 penalty minutes in 44 games. He tallied the game-winning goal for Montreal in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals on April 28, 2010 at Washington.

Prior to joining the Rangers, Moore played four seasons of collegiate hockey with Harvard University of the ECAC, registering 64 goals and 82 assists for 146 points in 128 games.

The Thornhill, Ontario native was originally selected by the Rangers in the third round, 95th overall, in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
