Rangers Agree To Terms With Goaltender Mackenzie Skapski
New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms on an entry-level contract with goaltender Mackenzie Skapski

The 6-3, 191-pounder registered a 34-25-1 record, along with a 2.78 GAA, a .910 SV%, and seven shutouts in 2012-13. Skapski’s 34 wins and seven shutouts were both career-highs, and he tied for first in the WHL in shutouts.
In 141 career WHL appearances, all with Kootenay, Skapski posted a 74-52-7 record, a 2.81 GAA, a .909 SV%, and eight shutouts. He recorded his first WHL win while making his WHL debut on January 29, 2011 vs. Lethbridge. Skapski also registered a 4-8 record in 15 career playoff appearances with Kootenay.
The Abbotsford, British Columbia native was selected by the Rangers in the sixth round, 170th overall, in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
