4. Selection of Winner:
(a) First Round - Between March 22, 2008 12:00AM and March 25, 2008 11:59PM (the “First Round”), each eligible Video entry received during the Submission Period, as determined by Sponsor, will be posted on RangersNet. Visitors to RangersNet will be asked to view the posted Videos and vote online for their favorite. The three (3) Videos with the highest number of on-line votes during the First Round, as calculated by Sponsor based on a combination of "total votes received" and "highest rated" (the “Top Three Videos”), will move on to the final round of voting and the individuals who submitted the Top Three Videos will be deemed “Finalists.” In the event of a tie at the conclusion of the First Round, as determined by Sponsor, the Video with the most “total votes received” among the tied Videos shall move on to the next round.
(b) Final Round - On or around March 26, 2008 a panel of qualified judges consisting of members from Rangers staff and alumni will view the Top Three Videos and select the winner. The winning Video will be chosen based equally on the excitement of the Video’s On-Ice Moment and how well the On-Ice Moment conveys the spirit of youth hockey. In the event of a tie for the Grand Prize, the judges will re-review the tied Videos to determine the winner based on the above criteria.
(c) Only (1) prize will be awarded. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received, the number of online votes cast during the First Round, and the demonstration of youth hockey spirit as determined by the judges. Sponsor will notify the Grand Prize winner’s Parent on or around March 27, 2008 by e-mail and or phone. In the event the winner’s Parent is unreachable, the winner's prize notification is returned as undeliverable or the winner and winner’s Parent fail to return the Affidavit and Release as specified above within 48 hours of receipt of notification, such winner will forfeit the prize. In the event that the prize is forfeited, all entries receiving a lower ranking will move up one ranking and the next highest ranked entry will be deemed the winner of such forfeited prize. Sponsor reserves the right not to award any or all of the prizes if there are an insufficient number of eligible entries or if Sponsor determines in its absolute discretion that no or too few entries meet the quality standards established to award the prizes.
