If you've ever dreamed of being an NHL general manager or scout, you already know that some of your most important decisions would be made each year on draft day. To give our fans a sense of the challenges league executives face, we have created a 10-question Draft Philosophy Survey below. We present hypothetical situations to understand the mindset you would bring to a draft table. This survey is in no way specific to the upcoming June 20-21 draft in Ottawa. We'll collect survey results for the next week and post the final percentages on the afternoon of June 20, just a few hours before the actual draft. We want to emphasize in advance that while some questions require serious thought, this is an opinion survey and there are no "right" answers to any of them. |
