Training Camp 2008 Nearly 70 Veterans, Prospects
Assembled at Rangers Camp

On Sept. 16, every member of the New York Rangers organization will be on hand for the opening of the Blueshirts' annual training camp at the team's training facility in Westchester. From this group of more than 60 players, head coach Tom Renney and his staff will choose an opening-night roster of just 23. Prospects first to arrive before heading to Traverse City tourney

For the third consecutive year, training camp begins early, as 24 prospects stop off at the Training Center on their way to the Sept. 13-17 Traverse City (Mich.) Prospects Tournament. The talented group features two of the last three first-round draft picks and 10 young players who have already signed Rangers contracts.
