Attention all youth hockey players! This season, the Rangers will host special days of hockey instruction for kids and teenagers of various ages and skill levels. The clinics take place at the Rangers practice facility, the MSG Training Center in Tarrytown, N.Y., and our partner ice rinks. Clinics are hosted by Youth Hockey Ambassador Adam Graves* and/or other former Rangers players and current team coaches. * or other former Rangers players, depending upon schedule.

The New York Rangers PeeWee Hockey Club is operated primarily to participate in the annual Quebec International PeeWee Hockey Tournament that is held each year in February in Quebec City. The Rangers team is selected from players that reside in the New York Metropolitan area. Players are selected based upon their skill as a hockey player, their dedication to the sport, as well as their exemplary off-ice conduct.
The Rangers Sled Hockey team currently plays in the Northeast Sled Hockey League competing against teams from New England, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Throughout the year, the sled hockey team practices at the Madison Square Garden Training Center, the official practice facility of the New York Rangers. During their season the team proudly wears Rangers jerseys as they compete in league play and numerous tournaments across the country. The Wheelchair Sports Federation Rangers Sled Hockey Team will be displaying their skills on-ice at Madison Square Garden during the first intermission of the Rangers vs. Colorado game on February 28th, 2009. ![]() Since 1987, the New York Rangers and Ice Hockey In Harlem have enriched the lives of more then 1200 inner-city boys and girls, exposing them to a sport that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Ice Hockey In Harlem is a non-profit community based youth organization that uses the sport of hockey to promote academic achievement, responsibility, teamwork and good character. The objective of the organization is to provide inspiration, encouragement and guidance to children leading to better life experiences, education and career opportunities.
