Rangers forward Brandon Prust's second-period goal that tied up the Islanders 2-2 was named the newyorkrangers.com Moment of the Week for the Week 2 of the 2011-12 regular season. The goal, Prust's first of the season, claimed 57.1 percent of the voting by Rangers fans to finish ahead of both Henrik Lundqvist's 5-on-3 save vs. John Tavares in the same game, as well as Marian Gaborik's goal that made it a 1-1 game in the second period.
