THE ST. CROIX WATCH

Michael St. Croix, a center selected by the Rangers in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, is playing his third season of major-junior hockey at age 18 this year in Edmonton, Alberta, with the Western Hockey League's Oil Kings.

The Winnipeg native, who played in the 2011 Traverse City Prospects Tournament, is the son of former NHL goaltender Rick St. Croix, who played in 130 NHL games for Philadelphia and Toronto during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
