The New York Rangers 6th Annual Youth Hockey Night is a celebration of youth hockey across the Tri-State. A special pre-game Youth Hockey Forum and Q & A Session with Rangers Alumni will be held in the MSG Theater Lobby with youth and high school hockey players, coaches, parents and administrators from across the tri-state area. The night also includes special video recaps and an opportunity to win unique pre-game and on-ice experiences including Zamboni rides and autographed Rangers memorabilia.

The evening is highlighted by the presentation of the 6th Annual Emile Francis Award presented by World Yacht which is awarded in recognition of the sacrifice, dedication, and impact that volunteers have on grassroots development and youth and amateur hockey. This award honors former Rangers Coach and General Manager Emile Francis, who is a longtime supporter of minor hockey and founded the Metropolitan Junior Hockey Association, which was the foundation from which many local amateur hockey associations and leagues were born, and helped launch the careers of Rangers alumni Nick Fotiu and Brian Mullen who are both products of local youth hockey.
