Team name changed to Brooklyn Americans prior to 1941-42 season. Traded to Toronto (Pittsburgh-AHL) by Brooklyn with Viv Allen for Phil McAtee and the return of Peanuts O'Flaherty (previously on loan), October 8, 1941.
