Traded to Pittsburgh (AHL) by Montreal for cash, November 24, 1944. Played for Montreal in playoff game on March 24, 1945 though he was subsequently ruled ineligible to play in any further playoff games as his rights were still owned by Pittsburgh (AHL). Traded to Montreal (Buffalo - AHL) by Toronto (Pittsburgh - AHL) with Gerry Brown for Dutch Hiller and Vic Lynn, September 21, 1946.
