Recorded a shutout (5-0) in NHL debut vs. Boston, November 2, 1957. Traded to Providence (AHL) by NY Rangers with Aldo Guidolin, Sandy McGregor and Jim Mikol for Ed Giacomin, May 18, 1965. McGregor refused to report and was replaced with Buzz Deschamps. Selected by Chicago (WHA) in 1972 WHA General Player Draft, February 12, 1972.
